Extrusion is a process used to create objects with defined cross-section and fixed. The material is pressed through a die of a cross section previously chosen.
 

The advantage of the above extrusion process is usually manufactured to create more complex cross-sections and brittle materials can work with and that the treated material only encounters compressive and shear forces. In addition the resulting pieces are formed with an excellent surface finish.
This extrusion process can be continuous or semi continuous material, using it either hot or cold as metals, polymers, ceramics, foodstuffs and even concrete.
